From June 2010 to April 2011, Hubei Yulong Dahongshan Ecotourism Development Co., Ltd used Wulian red granite as the raw material to make the lithoid chess Hubei Yulong Hotspring Chess with 32 chess pieces of which the single diameter was 1.39m, the single height was 0.45m, the single weight was 2 tons and the total weight was 64 tons. It has broken the world record of the heaviest chess as recognized by World Record Association.
